Invitation and programme
Humans have exploited planet Earth to a large extent. With the current extinction of species, climate change, phosphorus inputs into the oceans and nitrogen emissions, we are already overshooting several of the planetary boundaries. This will change our living conditions considerably in the long term. To counteract these developments, we must not only act at the social, political and economic level, but also each and every individual in everyday life.
What are our options for action? How can people live in an environmentally friendly way and operate ecologically? What are the benefits of global agreements compared to local solutions? And what are successful forms of transnational environmental policy-making?
Welcome
