The General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) 2024 took place from April 14 to 19 and was covered by a series of press conferences featuring renowned scientists in the field. ECH Director and geoscientist Thilo Hofmann participated in the press conference on Monday, April 15th, on the topic of „Food Health, Water Supply and Tire-derived Compounds“ to share his expertise on food contaminated by microplastics caused by tire abrasion.
