ECH/Timo Bühler
As part of the ORF-Long Night of Museums at the Natural History Museum Vienna, the ECH invites visitors to explore the connections between the ocean, climate, health and society in an interactive way.
With the science communication game The Bigger Picture, current findings from environmental and climate research become part of an engaging museum experience. Under the motto “Our oceans – more than just water?”, visitors of all ages can discover how the oceans shape our planet, influence the climate, support diverse habitats and affect human life far beyond the coastline.
Set within a night dedicated to discovery, dialogue and curiosity, the game encourages visitors of all ages to think across disciplines, connect scientific perspectives and reflect on the role of the oceans in the past, present and future of our Earth.
